剩菜變身﹕牛肉批

做了燉牛肉作晚餐,沒吃完,剩下了一小碗﹔隔天想到冰箱裡有現成批皮,便將沒吃完的燉牛肉變身成為牛肉批了!平常批皮我會自己做,不過看到1.5英鎊減至10便士的現成批皮,買現成的好了,比自己做還要便宜,嘻嘻。 大龍吃得津津有味說﹕「你該多做批,這個很好吃!」 我說﹕「你可知道批皮脂肪有多高呀﹖肥仔!」 大龍﹕「肥妹!」(是的,這個他會用廣東話說……) 舖好批皮,倒入吃剩的燉牛肉,用批皮蓋好,塗上蛋液,放入焗爐烤至金黃色就可以了!是不是很方便!

  1. yumyum. i tried to make pie but couldnt handle the pastry, it didnt form a shape. how did u make yours (looks so pretty)? do u need any form to keep its shape?

    I used a 6-inch cake tin to make this pie. Did you use a pie dish or cake tin? When yo lie the tin/dish with pastry, you need to make sure there is no hole or the filling will leak out!

    If the filling is watery, you will need to blink bake the pastry first or the pastry will go soggy.
